In general, I am very happy with DeepL and its abilities to translate formatted PDF and DOCX documents. I recently tried to translate a 20 page PDF file only to receive an error message that the file couldn’t be translated. I contact DeepL support who suggested that not all PDFs are readable (DeepL’s OCR is much less powerful than others) and I should try with the DOCX from which the PDF was generated. That didn’t work either (even though the file is perfectly readable with Word and Google Docs) and the following answer I got from DeepL was totally unhelpful is knowing how to solve the problem. What should I do next?
